Bellawongah-Church

Built in 1868 on land granted by Somerset Richard, Earl of Belmore, Governor of New South Wales, the small Wesleyan Church was built on Kangaroo Valley road, Berry Mountain (now Bellawongarah) for the small local mountain community, and served as their church for around 100 years . It has stone foundations cut from surrounding rock, and locally felled and milled hardwood for the building itself. The Old Mountain Church, as it is known locally, has been fully refurbished and is now a charming heritage listed B&B cottage.
