Stonemasonry is an environmentally friendly and sustainable building method that is ideally suited to a coastal environment and harsher inland weather conditions.
At Stonehedge we build to suit the south coast, be it feature walls for your new home, fireplaces, pizza ovens, stone cladding, stone entrance ways and whole structures such as barns. We appreciate the wide variety of tastes and needs our clients have.
This year we have built dry stone walls for rural properties, trying to tie in the new with the past. We have built and restored fire places in some of Berry’s most spectacular renovations, and created rustic entry statements with a contemporary edge for new estates outside our normal work area. We are proud to have built key features of the exciting new Arbour development in Berry, creating warm communal spaces for residents of this new over 55′s village. In amongst all of this, we have created some funky outdoor entertaining areas with pizza ovens and BBQ’s in a range of homes in the region. We are even enjoying our own new pizza oven, mastering new recipes and cooking some great meals.
A big honour for us this year was winning the ASAA National Residential Award and the National Premier Award. It is great to see this type of work done on the south coast be so competitive within the country.
