Woodhill Mountain Wines
The vineyard, planted in 1998 is located in the foothills of Woodhill Mountain near the township of Berry on the South Coast of New South Wales.
The Gibson Family have specialized in producing wine from the Chamboucin grape variety which delivers a fine, mellow, light fruity style of red table wine. Throughout the growing season, the vineyard is not sprayed with fungicide or pesticide applications to eliminate chemical exposure to the fruit.
Trading under the label of “Woodhill Mountain” the wine has an intense purple colour that resists diminishing with age. The bouquet shows aromatic spicy, herbal and cherry fruit characters, with a light palate weight which is suited to all occasions. Tasting and vineyard tours can be arranged by appointment.
