2-Day Landscape Painting Art Workshop with Jo Bertini

Art Workshops at Berry will host the talented and energetic artist/teacher Jo Bertini, who will teach a 2 day workshop focusing on painting and sketching directly from nature.

This workshop is designed for artists to develop a visual language and a particular thinking about the genre of landscape painting. A preliminary approach will include use of sketch books, drawings, photography and small scale concept studies using each artist’s intuitive strengths as well as developing skill based techniques. This creative experimentation achieves a unique interpretation for each individual student to then pursue with confidence on a larger, more resolved scale.

Jo is a well-known artist who has exhibited her work for over 2 decades. She has also taught at tertiary institutes and at workshops around the country for many years. Jo has been a finalist in many prominent prizes including the Wynne, Sulman and Portia Geach.
