Children's Book Illustration Lecture with John Ericson

John Ericson is a former university lecturer who has developed a particular interest in presentation skills including the role of pictures in learning and the appropriate use of PowerPoint. His talks are well-illustrated and presented with warmth and humour.

Children’s Book Illustration will examine how illustrations contribute to the development of understanding and how the interaction of image and narrative create powerful memories. Many of the images we saw as children remain with us throughout our lives. Images of ‘Tigger’ and ‘Toad’ and ‘The Tiger Who Came To Tea’ will probably stay with us forever!
