Berry to Kangaroo Valley via Cambewarra Lookout

This beautiful scenic drive (State Tourist Drive 7) starts from Berry and takes Kangaroo Valley Road out of town. The road winds up Berry Mountain through beautiful bush with glimpses of wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.

Once over the escarpment, the road winds down into the lush grasslands of Kangaroo Valley, where you can enjoy a meal or picnic before your return drive.

Kangaroo Valley village. You can return via the same route, but it is worth completing a circuit by returning to Berry via scenic Wattamolla Road, which is partially unsealed.

  • Cambewarra Mountain Lookout at 1 Cambewarra Lookout Road, Beaumont. Phone (02) 4465 1321 for opening times of the cafe that is also situated here.
