Gerroa Picnic Area at Seven Mile Beach

Parks & Picnic Areas, Family-Friendly, Scenic

This lovely picnic spot is a 15 minute drive from Berry. From the Beach Road/Crooked River Road intersection, continue north on Crooked River Road for a further 2.3km (3-5 minutes). Just before the speed limit changes from 100kph to 60kph, turn right onto the unsealed entrance to Seven Mile Beach National Park. This entrance road is about 1.75km south of the Crooked River Bridge, so if you find yourself driving over this, you have gone too far.

The entrance road continues for about 750m into the Park, where there is a small car park.

The secluded grassy picnic area is surrounded by bush, with Seven Mile Beach itself just moments beyond. In summer, Gerroa picnic area is open from 6am until 8pm everyday closed overnight. In winter, the picnic area is open 6am to 6pm.
