Arrival (Thursday Evening)

Day 1 Fri

Day 2 Sat

  • Enjoy a healthy and tasty breakfast in the dappled morning sunlight at The Garden in Berry. Appreciate the artwork by local artists on display.
  • If it’s the second Saturday of the month, wander down to the Berry Bowling Club Markets.
  • Drive down bucolic Beach Road to Seven Mile Beach for a stroll along the wild pristine sands.
  • Head over for lunch at Coolangatta Estate Winery followed by an onsite historic tour of the convict built property.
  • Unwind with some pampering at SEED Organic Facialist, or treat yourself by having your hair and makeup done at Blow Bar on Queen.
  • Grab a pre-dinner drink, while you watch the world go by from the verandah of the Southern Hotel Berry.
  • Enjoy an amazing gourmet dinner of locally sourced fresh produce and wines at highly acclaimed local restaurant South On Albany.

Day 3 Sun

  • Grab a coffee to kick start the morning from iv Coffee.
  • Hike 2.25km up to amazing views over Berry to Jervis Bay and see the unique rock formations of the escarpment carved into the shape of tables and chairs by the weather at ‘Drawing Room Rocks’.
  • Head to Queen Street Cafe for a hearty all day breakfast.
  • If it’s the first Sunday of the month, take a stroll around the Berry Markets.
  • Enjoy morning tea and a slice of home-baked cake at The Berry Tea Shop while perusing the huge range of teas blended on the premises.
  • Wander through the picturesque town for some retail therapy at the many unique independent gift, homewares, fashion and other stores in Berry.
  • Seek out a delicious lunch at The Hungry Monkey located in the historic old bakery building.
  • Take the self-guided Berry Historic Walking Tour where you can learn about the European settlement history of the Shoalhaven and its founders.
  • Head to the Berry Hotel for a relaxing afternoon drink by the fire, followed by a warming and delicious authentic Thai over the road in the Historic Post House of Berry.
  • Take an after-dark tour with Shoalhaven Heritage Walks and discover the darker side of Berry.

Day 4 Mon

  • On Monday, it’s your last day in beautiful Berry. Head on to Creamery Lane for a coffee at 1950s styled “The Dairy Bar” while watching cows graze in the paddocks next door.
  • Pop into the famous Berry Treat Factory next door to pick up some sweet Maxwells Treats made on the premises for your friends (and maybe some for yourself)!
  • Grab a delicious lunch at The Emporium Gourmet Cafe & Deli.
  • Head over Woodhill Mountain, down Wattamolla Road and toward Kangaroo Valley for the prettiest of scenic drives to leave you wondering when you can come back next. Head on back to Sydney or Canberra via the Southern Highlands.
