Autumn Nature Play for Wild Ones with Green Mountain Nature Play

Looking for a school holiday activity that gets kids off screens and into the great outdoors? Green Mountain Nature Play returns this autumn with immersive, nature-based sessions designed for curious, energetic kids aged 4 – 14 years.

Set within beautiful natural surrounds near Berry, these sessions invite children to explore freely, build confidence and connect with the environment through hands-on adventure. Each day unfolds organically, guided by the interests and energy of the group – no rigid schedules, just meaningful outdoor play and discovery.

Young explorers can expect a mix of activities such as bushcraft skills, shelter building, campfire bread baking, weaving, knot tying, whittling, nature art and sculpture, as well as paddling in creeks, rock scrambling and wildlife spotting. It is all about learning through experience, creativity and a sense of adventure.

More than just outdoor play, Nature Play fosters a strong sense of community. Children are encouraged to practise respect, kindness and cooperation, while developing confidence, resilience and the ability to listen, share and ask for help.

Berry sessions are the highlight of the autumn program, on 7th, 9th, 13th & 15th April, with additional holiday dates now also available in Nowra and Huskisson.
