Sky, Earth, Water brings together the work of Rosalie Gascoigne with significant new commissions by First Nations artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Janet Fieldhouse and Glenda Nicholls, creating a powerful dialogue across generations and perspectives.

Gascoigne’s evocative works draw on the vast skies, waterways and wheat fields of the Monaro region, transforming found industrial materials into luminous reflections of the Australian landscape. From intimate studies to some of her most iconic pieces, the exhibition highlights the evolution of her distinctive practice.

Responding to Bundanon’s natural environment and their own homelands, the commissioned works by Connelly-Northey, Fieldhouse and Nicholls bring deep cultural knowledge and contemporary site-responsive practice into conversation with Gascoigne’s vision. Featuring more than 20 key loans from major Australian institutions and private collections, this exhibition celebrates landscape, memory and material as enduring forces in artistic expression.

The Garden Berry welcomes back much-loved South Coast artist Kerry Bruce Artist & Exhibitions, presenting her latest exhibition, Nature.

This evocative collection explores emotion through the lens of the natural world, where blooms, landscapes and wildlife become powerful expressions of feeling. Rather than depicting literal scenes, each work captures a sense of stillness, movement or quiet reflection, brought to life through layered colour and intuitive mark-making.

Kerry’s creative process embraces spontaneity, allowing each piece to evolve organically and strike a thoughtful balance between intention and instinct. The result is a beautifully cohesive body of work that invites visitors to pause, reflect and connect – whether with nature, memory or something more personal.

On display at The Garden Berry until Wednesday 29 April, this exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, enjoy a meal and take in the artwork in a relaxed, welcoming setting. All pieces are available for purchase.

Berry ANZAC Day Commemorations include a March from Apex Park to the Memorial Park, via Queen and Alexandra St, commencing at approx.10:15am, followed by a service at Memorial Park, near the railway station from 10:45am

All participants are requested to be ready prior to 10:15am, meeting at the cnr of Prince Alfred and Queen St, near Apex Park, for the parade marshal to call the marchers into position once the area has been secured and traffic control is in place. Those in uniform are requested to wear medals and families attending can also wear their kinfolk medals (on the right-hand side of a jacket or shirt).

The inclement weather plan is to utilise the Berry School of Arts.

Bomaderry – Walsh Memorial Park, Meroo Street commencing at 5:45am;

Our music-led event series A Day Well Spent returns with an Indie-themed weekend across Thursday 21 May and Sunday 24 May, bringing live performances into venues across town.

Building on the energy of earlier events, the Indie edition will see a fresh line-up of artists take over Berry’s favourite local venues, creating a relaxed, music-filled atmosphere throughout the village. While the full program is still to be announced, visitors can expect a thoughtfully curated mix of emerging and established acts, spanning indie, alternative and acoustic sounds.

Gigs will be hosted across multiple venues, making it easy to wander from one performance to the next, settle in for a long lunch with live music, or ease into the evening with a drink in hand and a soundtrack to match.

The Knights, the bands, the Clans, medieval villagers, singing and dancing will be back at the 2026 Berry Celtic Festival – Saturday 23rd May, for a day full of entertainment.

Come see what medieval life was like in Celtic times. The Berry Celtic Festival steps off at 9.30am with a Grand Street Parade of pipe bands marching in their distinctive kilts, together with representatives of all the Clans, medieval knights, and Scottish Terrier dogs. The Parade proceeds down the main street of Berry and on to the Berry Showground where the rest of the day’s activities are held.

At the Showground you’ll see the marching of the massed bands, musical items, Celtic fiddlers, highland dancing, enchanted singing, and of course, the battles of the medieval knights.

The heavily armoured noble knights on horseback joust one another to see who is the last one standing. You’ll hear the thunder of the hooves as horses charge at one another with the jousting knights aiming their lances at each other. It is full of excitement.

Other knights resplendent in shining armour re-live battles in hand-to-hand combat demonstrating their skilful swordplay.

The Berry Celtic Festival is a fundraising endeavour of the Rotary Club of Berry.

The Camellia and Floral Show returns on Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th July! See the Berry School of Arts filled to the brim with a magnificent array of camellias and other exquisite cut winter flowers. You can even enter one of your own beautiful blooms and purchase camellia plants at the Show.
