Berry Country Fair (AKA Berry Markets) has approximately 200 stalls selling handmade / hand-produced products, arts and crafts, locally grown vegetables and produce, collectables, books, plants, leather goods, clothing and many other interesting stalls to browse. There is also an animal farm for the children and free entertainment throughout the market.

Berry Country Fair is held the first Sunday of every month except February when there is no market. Open to the public from 8am till 2.30pm. Entry is free.

Market site fees

• Casual stallholders: $65 for single site
• Regular stallholders: $55 for single site, $110 for double site
• Power fee $10

Single sites are 3m x 3m.

We are proud to present orchestral arrangements of two of the most loved string quartets of the romantic repertoire – Dvorak String Quartet No. 12 known as the “American” and Mendelssohn String Quartet No. 2.  The program will be balanced with Sad Jigs by local composer Andrew Ford. This music is accessible to all – come along and be inspired.

Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club is hosting the 2018 National Motoring Heritage Day on Sunday, 20th May at Berry Showground, Berry.

The theme this year features pre-1940 vehicles, however everyone and all owners of Vintage, Historic and Classic vehicles of all years and marques, and vehicles of special interest are invited to come and enjoy the day with us.  The Gates will be open from 8.30 am and the day will finish at 3.30 pm.

The event is open to clubs and individuals alike, entrants are asked to register their vehicles to be displayed.  Spaces fill fast so we recommend preregistration to guarantee a place on the oval. For online registration go to Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club’s website or if you prefer, the invitation and entry form can be downloaded.

Awards will be presented at 12.30 for the Best Car, Best Bike, Best Restored, Best Original with Special Awards, plus Runner-Up and Merit Awards.

Refreshments will be available, with Gerringong Lions providing a sausage sizzle, and other vendors supplying food, coffee and soft drinks.

The 12th annual Berry Celtic Festival on Saturday 26 May 2018 features “Scotland”and has lots of great entertainment including spectacular medieval knights jousting.

Don’t miss the street parade down Queen St followed by a full day of entertainment at Berry Showground.

The Berry Celtic Festival is a fundraising project of the Rotary Club of Berry supported by Shoalhaven City Council. Entertainment continues all day until around 4pm.

Over the June long weekend wineries across the Shoalhaven Coast Wine Region will open their cellar doors on the for a three-day extravaganza of wine tasting, fine food and entertainment. This will mark the 15th year of the Shoalhaven Coast Winter Wine Festival.

Various events will be held throughout cellar doors across the region including live music, long lunches, winemakers’ dinners, market stalls, art exhibitions, wine education talks, vineyard tours, BBQs and so much more.

Cellar doors open 10am to 5pm during festival.

Hop-on hop off bus available.

In a departure from previous years, the 2018 Shoalhaven Coast Winter Wine Festival will be a ticketed event. Tickets will be available to purchase via the Shoalhaven Coast Winter Wine Festival website in March 2018. No tickets will be sold on the day and entry will only be gained by ticket holders for each day.

Cellar doors open 10am to 5pm during festival.

The Shoalhaven Coast Wine Region

The Shoalhaven Coast wine growing region, stretching from Kiama to Durras on the South Coast of NSW, has flourished over the past 20 years. The Shoalhaven Coast wine trail meanders through luscious green valleys and overlooks some of the country’s most pristine beaches. It is one of the few regions in Australia where visitors have the unique experience of meeting vignerons and wine makers at cellar doors.

The region produces a wide range of varieties including Chardonnay, Verdelho, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

In recent years new exciting varieties have been planted and are now available for tasting at cellar doors. These new varieties include Arneis, Viognier, Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Tannat.

The region’s commitment to quality and producing premium wines has been recognised with over 1,000 Australian and International Wine Awards.
