The Yuin Healing Trail is an organization connecting local businesses with the community and incoming tourists that focus on the Yuin ways of life.  Explore all the Shoalhaven has to offer with an amazing number of events, workshops and activations lead by the participating businesses.

Their lead-Up events will culminate on a weekend event from 18-20th October 2024, conducted across the Shoalhaven from Kangaroo Valley to Durras North. The main event of The Yuin Helaing Trail, offers opportunities for all businesses and organisations  currently working to connect people to nature, creativity, wellness or anything else that might be seen as healing. it is a community adventure.

Choose from Storytelling, Connecting to Country, Cultural Burning, Yuin Astronomy, Bush Tucker, open days and offerings from all our health and wellness practitioners, painting up with ochre, women’s gatherings and Men’s Table and Mens Sheds, Cultural awareness workshops, Wayapa Wuurrk sessions, bush regeneration and bush walking, diving with seals, smoking ceremonies, weaving circles, food venues offering wellness menus, Aboriginal art and craft workshops, sorry business and truth telling, understanding birthing on Country and so much more.

The Yuin Healing Trail has a vision of a Healed Country in which people understand the reciprocal nature of giving and receiving with nature and see themselves as part of the rich tapestry of lands, waterways, seas, skies and all creatures.  The trail is inclusive of all offerings that encompass these themes.

Our work makes Shoalhaven synonymous with Healing Country and Healing on Country, culminating in the Yuin Healing Trail – 18-20 October 2024.
