2 Day Abstract Landscape Painting Workshop with Ross Laurie

Using drawing materials and/or paints, develop your skills in capturing atmosphere, light and distance unique to working outdoors. Known for his abstract paintings, artist Ross Laurie was born in 1961 in Walcha, located in the northern tablelands of NSW. Laurie studied at Sydney College of the Arts in 1982 and then travelled to London to continue his studies. He returned to Australia in Melbourne in 1985 to study and graduated from a painting course at the Victoria College Prahran in 1986. He returned to Walcha in 1990, where he currently lives and practices. This is Ross’ first workshop in Berry.
