Event Details

Berry ANZAC Day Commemorations include a March from Apex Park to the Memorial Park, via Queen and Alexandra St, commencing at approx.10:30am, followed by a service at Memorial Park, near the railway station.

All participants are requested to be ready by 10.15 am at the cnr of Prince Alfred and Queen St, near Apex Park, for the parade marshal, WO2 Alex Mearns, to call the marchers into position once the area has been secured and traffic control is in place. Those in uniform are requested to wear medals and families attending can also wear their kinfolk medals (on the right-hand side of a jacket or shirt).

The inclement weather plan is to utilise the Berry School of Arts.

If you wish to attend a Dawn Service the closest services are to be held at:

Shoalhaven Heads – Shoalhaven Heads Memorial Park just before 6am;
Bomaderry – Walsh Memorial Park, Meroo Street commencing at 5:45am;
Greenwell Point – assemble at Greenwell Point Memorial Hall at 5.10am and march off at 5.25am to ANZAC Park via Greenwell Point Road for service.
Kiama – Lighthouse at Blowhole Point at 5am
