The Rotary Club of Berry is again hosting the Australia Day Breakfast – and everyone is welcome at this FREE community event!
- Egg and bacon sandwiches, sausage sandwiches,
tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available FREE OF
CHARGE, however a kind donation to Rotary’s Fire Relief
effort would be gratefully appreciated.
- Entertainment all morning, including an Australia Day
address by keynote speaker Heather Macdonald.**
- There are FREE games for the kids, including a
jumping castle, quoits, hula hoops and more.
- From 8am to 11am. Come along and thank our local
fire fighting heroes … at the woodchop area of Berry
**Heather Macdonald has a professional history at both national and international levels having worked as a community based District Midwife in Wales, as a nurse practitioner with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in outback Australia, and as a Public Health Adviser with the UN World Health Organisation and AusAid in many developing countries. Her unique blend of community based work, project development and policy design has provided her with an intimate understanding of how communities function across borders of culture religion and language.
