Exhibition Opening 'Our Garden' Becky Guggisberg

Join us for a complimentary glass of bubbles to celebrate the opening night of Becky Guggisberg’s exhibition “Our Garden”. In trying times, an artist gathering can be a place of connection and a place to be held. Being in a creative space we can reawaken the possible and collectively mourn our loss. We can allow our blessings to be acknowledged & we can decide to change course.

Becky works daily in a small south coast studio in her backyard surrounded by her urban rainforest.

Her work delves into what makes us whole – joyful connection to the environment; relationships with each other & ourselves; truly seeing, learning, imagining, feeling, living, loving, honouring and evolving. Her work is never constant but a continuum of explorations, usually colourful, with a joyous sense of freedom – an act of delight and gratitude.

She has been a finalist and award winner in many art prizes and her work has been nationally & internationally collected and commissioned. In 2018 she was a successful applicant for a 1-month artist in residency in the Holy city of Varanasi, India.

The event will run from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, with additional drinks available to purchase at the bar and the option to stay and enjoy dinner at the restaurant afterwards.

The exhibition will run from the 17th of January until the 13th of February and all works will be available for purchase.
