Guest Speaker Bruce A McLennan will be sharing stories of Rev Donald and Annie McLennan and their friends – the pioneers of the Town of Berry.
During their time in Berry from 1894 to 1905 the McLennans, residing in the historic Presbyterian Manse in Victoria Street, were very involved in community activities, including the School of Arts and were chosen to represent Berry at the Convention about Federation in Bathurst in 1896.
Light refreshments will be served following the Talk and a gold coin donation to the Society would be welcomed.
Copies of Bruce’s book ‘Friends, Family and Forebears’ which tells the stories of the people of Berry, will be available for sale on the night.
