Berry is a picturesque village set at the foothills of rolling green hills, just a few minutes drive to the beautiful beaches of the NSW South Coast. It is the ideal base for exploring the region and there’s no doubt you’ll find yourself itching to get out there and amongst it.
One of the best ways to start the day is watching the sunrise at the stunning Seven Mile beach at either Gerroa or Shoalhaven Heads, just 10 minutes from Berry. There’s also access via the bush track to Berry’s Beach (the middle area of Seven Mile Beach) at the end of Beach Road.
Later, why not grab your walking shoes and explore one of the scenic mountain or coastal tracks, or jump on your bike and enjoy a gentle roll or conquer the hills. Berry’s Broughton Creek or the nearby Shoalhaven River at Shoalhaven Heads and Crooked River Estuary at Gerroa also offer excellent opportunities for stand up paddleboarding or kayaking.
If exploring the township is more your style there’s an eclectic collection of boutique shops, galleries and museums offering excellent indoor adventures. While for history buffs, there’s the Berry Historic Walking Trails which enable you to take a step back in time.
Once all the exploring is done it’s time to unwind and relax. Berry is fortunate to be home to several fantastic beauty salons, massage therapists and hair salons that will leave you feeling completely pampered.
If active relaxation is your preference, check out upcoming events and markets or choose from Berry’s range of workshops, retreats and talks offering everything from yoga, creative workshops and decorative arts, to empowerment and inspiration.
